Dragonslayer
Hello all I am trying to ascertain the current sub-type of Bu.164993. As far as I'm aware, this was built as a standard C-130T, however, some suggest this was modified as KC-130T (circa 2005). Can anyone confirm please? Kind regards and many thanks in advance, Chris

bobdaley
It is still a C-130T. About 10 years ago the USN/USMC came up with a plan to make tankers out of the C-130T's, They already had all the internal plumbing installed. But the USN backed out saying they needed the Airlift. One or 2 C-130T's were modified with refueling pods, but they were taken off. Bob

hlg6016
If I remember right, Most of the Navy F models where plumbed with an IFR manifold also.
