bobdaley
Reminded me of being told back when Big MAC sucked us up from TAC and then bristled when we talked about Big MAC and Little MAC, yet after all these years there were squadrons of E models stationed at Travis, McGuire, and Charleston and with all the aircraft preserved at the big MAC bases none of them display a C-130. Of course the same can be said for ACC. There have always been 130's in TAC/ACC but at Fighter Central, Langley Field, where they have a lot of aircraft displays, even a B-52, and where there were three squadrons of herks stationed for up to 9 years, Not a Herk is to be seen. DC10FE
Bob, There seem to be an awful lot available for display at AMARG. Some things never change -- we'll always be "Little MAC." Don R.
Wilbur Nelson
No C-130 at the Travis museum either. There's fighters, B-29, B-52, C-133, C-124 and many others; but no C-130! I spent my last 4 years at 22nd Air Force HQ and they tried to forget we were a part of MAC. That's why I retired at 20 years!!
