Kirtland AFB

Recommended Posts

Anybody out in the ABQ area who takes photos.
Looking for some pics of Old Herks at Kirtland.
I was out there last Sept and could kick myself for not taking any pics.
The ones I am looking 63-7777, 64-0521, 64-0559, 69-5829.
Also 67-7185 which is a simulator.
Any help would be appreciated.
Bob
BTW if anyone is ambitious maybe they can find 55-0034 which went from AMARG to Kirtland in 1985 and not seen again.

521 is now located behind a fence in a secure area so there is no way to get a photo of it. All you can see is the vertical stab sticking up above the fence. There is also another herk trainer (fuselage only, no wings or empennage) parked in the same secure area.

If you let me know where the other ones are parked I can try to drive by and snap a pic.
