This is a little off the beaten path but still airlifter business. Trying to find a hook up that has experience with personnel airdrops out of C-7 Caribous. Air Force took possession from the US Army o/a 67 and did some personnel airdrops with the Bou primarily in SEA. Trying to find hung jumper retrieval procedures. Supposedly procedures were in the PACAF TACM 55-27. Anyone on the Canadian side or Australian side have current or past procedures that would be willing to pass them would be an immense help. Anyone know where a 40 year old pub could be found archived or on line? Purpose is to use these procedures to pass a USASOC inspection for DoD contract jump aircraft. The venerable Bou is currently being retrofitted with turbo-props. Can remember Bous taking off in front of our C-130 out of Saigon and then passing them inbound to Bien Hoa after we had already offloaded/onloaded our cargo at Bien Hoa and were headed back to Saigon.
