    We did it once in the Philippines and a few times in country, albeit without the paved roadway.

    Graywolf88, I was one of those TDYed back to Ton Son Nhut. 36 hr flight from Langley to CCK. I'd do it again if they'd let me.

    I'm a little late to the show but I flew with Bob for several years at NAS Navy Dallas and Kelly AFB TX on the C-5. We were in Viet Nam at the same time but didn't know each other. I have never flown with anyone that was more fun than Bob. Somewhere I have a few photo albums of my younger days and I know Bob is in a lot of those. I'll post when able. It's a shame but this is my first post here and I learn of Bob's passing. "Wings level, greasy side down." Mike
