Auxiliary capacity

Recommended Posts

What tenten said plus the aux system is the emergency nose gear extention system.

On tankers, (Sargeant Fletcher Pods) the Aux system also runs the hose reels in emergency.

It has a higher capacity mainly for ground handling ( pressurizing utility with aux ). Its common for the door to be open, ramp full open all while the -1 is going on at the same time. As you would imagine, this uses up a large amount of hydraulic fluid. Also, as the others before me have stated, this does operated the emergency systems.
