Don Boyer
Hey Everyone! My name is Don. I\'m 17, taking lessons in a C172R and working at a local FBO. My dream aircraft is to fly Herks, and even if that doens\'t come true, it is still an honor to be in the presence of one. Any how, till i can get my hands on a real one, i fly on my simulator at home (computer). Could anyone either send me, or point to where i could get a copy of the POH. Everything ....the basic manual itself, as well as performance charts, weight and balance, etc. Thanks, and great site, keep it up! DC10FE
Don, There\'s a company in Monument, Colorado that sells manuals for thousands of different aircraft, including the C-130. They\'re not cheap, though -- a couple of hundred bucks for a C-130 flight manual. Their website is www.aerotecdata.com Don R.

jetcal1
\"I\'m 17, taking lessons in a C172R and working at a local FBO.\" That got me thinking, when I was his age I had to work at the FBO for about 9 hours for one hour in the 172. ($4.50 an hour, minimum wage was $2.25(?)) At the current rates for a 172 in my area, a kid would have to be making $14.00 an hour. I doubt he\'s making anything like that at 17. Thats dedication. If anybody here is in the DFW area would like to support kids in aviation there is a new school for city youth in Dallas. The program is designed to give a kid an A & P and upto a commercial license. The Claude R. Platte Future Pilots School can be found at www.crpfuturepilots.com I am getting into the cycle to perform maintenance and inspections for the school aircraft as a volunteer.
