Guest
Colin hope the wild fires we're hearing about are no where near you Tom A
herkman
No fires yet in my area. Bad an hours flight away/ lost over a 100 people. What is really sad is that 50% of fires in Australia are deliberately lit. Sad times caused by sick people. Thanks for thinking of me, much appreciated Col
GaryRobinson
Col, What is the Aussie Base near Williamstown? I hope I have that right. In 1978 we ferried F-5 fighters and their maintenance team back across Australia with two C-130E's from the base, crow hopping across Australia to Indonesia and back to Clark AB, Philippines. Then returned with the C-130's to Yokota. Was quite a trip and only time I ever got to visit Australia. Gary
herkman
Yes it called Williamtown, like most of our bigger bases was from WW2 or earlier. Doubt if you would know it now so many changes. Regards Col
