The rapid response of the fire department is surprising. Actually, in Angola, the existance of a fire department is surprising! Another testament to the durabliity of Russian airplanes. I don't think the Il-18 had reversable props which is probably why the brakes were hot. Wonder how many bottles of vodka were broken? Don R.
