Happy Birthday to you Ken! I sure hope this year turns out better than the last two years. I sent Chris a personal e-mail on his birthday, the 7th and he replied back to me yesterday by the same. I don't get on this website too often anymore, so checked it this morning and found your message to Chris and myself. I have got you by 3 years, was 79 yesterday, and Chris is older than you by only a year. I guess it must be all this good clean living that keeps us alive. Have a great day today and I hope you have many more to come. Lee

Again another year and another year older , Lee and Chris, I think your birthdays are yesterday, and today and just in case I screwed this up we all know what the reason is. At least you guys for sure ,which means you guys are older than me for a few more hours or maybe a year in Chris's case. 😁. I hope you both have /had a nice day and hopefully you both will be here for your next birthdays. I know I plan on it! Again, happy birthdays to both of you, Ken

Found a group photo of Flight 6143, Squadron 3746 from December 1950 Sheppard Air Force Base. I found the picture in NC and would like to get the picture to someone that would appreciate it.

Been a long time. I just popped back in. Could not access my account and kept coming back to check on it. Sometime during the switch over, the text got all gobbledygook and my username now has characters I can’t even find on the keyboard. So I guess that was probably why I couldn’t access it. Last I posted was five years ago, when my dad passed, and I left you all that important message about getting checked for prostrate cancer. It was hard for me, still is. It was also around the time Dan (on the forum) had passed away. That hit me as well. George Malone (member here and former loadmaster and was my “loadmaster”) and I were still working at transporting special…

If I was at Naha right now, I would invite all of you down to Naminoue for a beer or two! If I was at CCK right now, I would invite all of you down to the Dirty Dozen for a beer or two! If I was at Ubon right now I would invite all of you down to the --the bar with no roof and the tree growing up in the middle for a beer or two. If we were at CRB I would either invite all of you to the Herky Hootch or steal somebodies beer out of the refrigerator in the barracks for a toast. Nothing but the classiest joints in SEA for me and my friends. I missed the Saigon tour in 1970 but I know you guys from Naha and CCK both would know the best places. Anyway …

I know, I know, I have mentioned this booklet several or more times over the years. Anyway, I finally found it and made a copy of the front and back covers. I am not able to copy the inside pages without taking all of it apart. So, here is what it looked like, and I guess I must have bought it at a BX on base. Probably the Flightline BX. All of the book doesn't pertain to all of us, but I am willing to bet it will bring back memories. If any of you guys have a good way of putting together some more books, let me know. The two pictures I am posting are just the front and back of the book. I have been calling it the Naminoue Capers incorrectly! Let …

I see that a guy by the name of Dave Glanville just joined! Could you possibly be the Dave Glanville from CCK that ran around with the elite group, the original base slobs? If so, welcome back, several of us have been talking about you. Mostly good things🙄 I will be watching to see if there are two Dave Glanville's. Ken --from Sheep Dip, MT
