That was a good read, I had no idea she was a nurse.

While some of the entertainers that visit war zones or the hospitals may not go to that extreme, many of them do it for the troops. My wife ran the USO at the Ramstein CASF (Contingency Aeromedical Staging Facility) for the ambulatory patients returning from the desert.

Many of the entertainers that came through were extremely grateful and went beyond what they were supposed to do. Some of the best were Cher, Lt Dan (Gary Sinise), Kid Rock, Wilmer Valderrama (Fes from That 70's Show), the NHRA drivers. Actually, there are too many to list.
