Utility pressure loss

On a B model (no reservoir bypass) - During travel of flight controls or gear, utility pressure drops below 1000psi and both EDP and suct boost lites illuminate. NOT an indication problem (gear/flaps fails time check). EDPs, boost pump, boost pump supply hose, boost pump press switch, accumulator, relief and ground test valve changed out to no effect. Firewall valves check good. No mule available (hey, if it was easy....). Thoughts?

If it happens with gear or flaps movement you may want to check the flow regulators. To check the landing gear you will need to actuate only one at a time, so pin/ground lock the other two. The only time I had this was when one MLG flow regulator failed to full flow and utility pressure dropped to about 1500 PSI.

Hey Vic hows Fl?

We had a bad flow reg and one gear would drop then the other...

Do your warning lights come on and stay on for the entire extension or do they come on and quickly go out?

Cycle the gear or flaps and see if you resevior level drops significantly then recovers.

If you tie the Aux system and run the flaps does your pressure drop off the Aux pump?
