E&E_guy
I have an ATM generator system that when running off of GTC bleed air, will not hold online past the initial spike of the Aux Pump being turned on. If I apply bleed air from a running engine, the ATM generator will hold the AUX pump just fine. So I guess my question is, is there a minimum air pressure output from the GTC that is required by any tech data? I've adjusted the air pressure regulator on the GTC to MAX out the output, but I'm still only getting 35-40psi from the GTC. Thanks for giving this a read... Side note: ATM system is basically brand new. List of changed parts: ATM ATM generator ATM fan GCP Voltage regulator Freq sensing relay Load control valve
62-1791
Don't forget that Contactor K53E was changed as well. Works fine with Engines running now? Vibrations making all the difference or some jazz; a strange phenomenon. Think it can be duplicated using 2 -95s and a Y-duct?
ec130
35-40 psi from your gtc is normal..you may have a valve issue coming from the gtc. are you getting slow starts from the gtc? if you have a valve stuck half way open you are still going to get your 35-40 psi off the gtc but the volume supply of the air is going to be drastically reduced. i would check your load control valve located in the left wheel well right above the gtc. E&E_guy
Thanks for the considerations. We changed another voltage regulator and fixed the problem. Those darn parts bad out of supply. We were not getting any slow starts on the engines, so I didn't go forward with the load control valve. Thanks again for looking.
