What is dte difference between JP-4 and JP-8?

I think we use the 4 or maybe 3 when I was woeking on thw A models.

I refueled many \"A\" models, and I don\'t remember draining the manifold.

I been out for 41 years so my CRS is really acting up.

Since I only worked on the A,s the only thing I know about the 4 blade props is they have one blade more than the 3.

Did the newer planes take off and climb out better than the A,s?

Did they have as much vibration as the A,s?

I have assumed they would cruse faster than the A,s, but I don\'t know.

I read where the 130,s from N.C. could only carry 3000 gallons of water.

There are some bigger tanks for other 130,s but they won\'t fit in the older models. I don\'t know why the tanks won\'t fit all!

I got out in Nov.66 and there is lots that \"I\" don\'t know.

Could be that some have been streached???

I would think the big windows are for the guns.

I think they had a couple of Gatlin Guns up there.

I wnet to the PI in Oct 64 TDY and spent my share of time in the Dirty Dozen.

We had to Island hop to get there and back in the A models.

Several of you got me beat on age. I am only 62 and joined when I was 17.
