    Naw, I didn't go. Just getting too old for back to back events, as I wanted to do the, and I am not making this up, "Inflatables Fun" behind the playground the next day.

    I am really pissed that the one guy I really wanted to win - lost. http://www.jonbarela.com/

    He was truly what I consider to be "old school" politician with common sense. He showed up to every radio show he was given the opportunity to and answered every question put to him. He explained every record. He was very amiable.

    I really did not like our rep. candidate. Both women came off as fake, when I met them. The demoncat appeared to much like a "Ima gonna be like uh Hillary". While the rep. one..well if you were female you would completely understand when I tell you she has that fake "I care sincerity" wave. the hand does not go side to side but the fingers bend down to the palm, wave. It is a fake wave.

    At least the demoncat is not in office.

    Pretty much now a days if your not a family member of an employee, or get lucky with a boy/girl scout or school tour your out of luck. Muff I believe got in on the Operator's conference tour. Which won't be another one of those till next year.

    All those years my dad worked in Saudi for Lockheed = jack sh*t. That is why I asked.

    Super monster mother Effin hailstorm from hell happened Oct 4th. It gave the roof a new "pebbled texture" roof. And busted out the one skylight. The skylight happens to be on the second floor roof.

    The builder put a skylight on the second story roof. Stupid. But now our remodel plans for that master bath have been put on hold - YET AGAIN!!!!

    So far, I have had five roofers come out to give an estimate. Three would not een get out the ladder and straight up said no, on the spot. One said yeah, but never gave me an estimate and is avoiding calls. And one that aslo said yes, is really living up to the contractor stereotype. Thankfully we have not agreed to anything or paid anything out.

    Speaking of guns - was at Wally World (and because I live in a rural area, and the Wally World is in said rural area) You can still purchase firearms at this one. I was giddy when I saw the Daisy Red Ryder pellet gun. "YOU'LL PUT YOUR EYE OUT!!"

    After upon inspection I saw that it said "made in china" :(

    BTW if you brought your lawn tractor with you, you'll need to check out a new attachment......s-n-o-w-p-l-o-w.

    Snow blower attachment. Why waste time pushing that stuff around? We have a John Deere 2350 and I effin love it when it snows. Set the throttle as high as it goes, and aim that at the meadow and watch it go.

    Oh yeah....Dan's briefly returned to tell us he has completed the move to Redneckery, Indiana. Welcome back Dan.

    ANCHORAGE, Alaska, Aug. 2 (UPI) -- A large multi-engine cargo plane crashed near the Denali National Park headquarters in Alaska, killing the three people on board, a park official said.

    Officials said the people aboard the Fairchild C-123 -- registered to All West Freight Inc. of Delta Junction, Alaska -- when it went down had been identified but the names weren't being released until relatives were notified, KTVA-TV, Anchorage, reported Monday.

    National Transportation Safety Board investigators were to arrive Monday.

    Numerous witnesses, including many tourists, saw the plane crash into Mount Healy's south face about 3 p.m. Sunday, the television station reported.

    "We were kind of talking about it, and it looked like he was flying kind of low, and he banked hard to the left and went straight down we saw the fireball come up from the back side of the mountains," said Alaskan visitor Brent Stache of Wisconsin. "If you can imagine a big jet crashing and all the airplane fuel starting on fire and going straight up in the air."

    The impact started a large wildfire that burned through the night, hampering investigators, officials said.

    Park officials said Denali Park Road near the crash site was open to traffic, but the Rock Creek and Roadside trails were temporarily closed. Officials also imposed a temporary flight restriction over the crash site.

    I had seen an episode of Dirty Jobs, where they were showing how tanning used to be done. And some places that is the same way they still do it. Except that it is now the urine of farm animals. That was on their top ten dirty jobs.
