  1. supposedly as per instruction the pump should only operates 5 minutes to darined all fuel in the spr manifold sir. so we decided to stop using the pump after 5 minutes and then we were just manually drain the remaining fuel in a pail sir. but it took some time and delayed our mission sir
  2. 200 pounds more or less sir. at first it cavitates after 10 minutes sir but after multiple used we did not continue to use the pump because were afraid that it will over heat.
  3. sir good day! i'm robert from the philippine air force. our c130 spr drain pump operatesmore than 10 minutes while in the instruction it says 5 minutes only. we already repalced the pump, drain valve and the one way check valve at the rear spar of the tank nr 3. My question is there other solution to this problem? thank u sir robert
  4. good day clark, thank u for the comprehensive information about the repair of radome. however, if it's okay with u, i am actually referring to the doppler antenna shield cover which is a carbon fiber found in the belly of the c-130. and my query is that does it form part in the structural of the aircraft and if so, if not replace immediately, does it affect the structures surroundings the said panel? again thank u for your reply. these are helpful information. cheers, bobby
  5. hi bischoffm. i'm bobby from the philippine air force, i would like to ask you or any of your friend who knows structural of the c-130. one our c-130 has a crack from end to end of its doppler antenna shield or cover located at the belly of the aircraft. now, our maintenance officer just have it repair through a pieces of fiber cloth. is it advisable? will it lead to a structural failure if not replace immediately? please help me on this..
