  1. I'm hearing the initial results of the crash investigation indicate a propeller blade separated from the aircraft and actually cut through the aircraft, separating the cockpit from the rest of the plane. Wonder if this will lead to better inspection procedures for c-130 blades. (?)
  2. If it takes approximately four hours to inspect a 54H60 propeller blade using conventional (manual) methods, and an automated inspection system reduces inspection time to only 30 minutes or less, why don't propeller MRO shops take advantage of those man-hour savings?
