bilwor
I photographed two Herks at D-M this week HC-130P 64-14853 and 64-14860. Both had FT on tail. What is the unit and base for these two?

I believe tail code FT is assigned to the 43rd Airlift Wing at Pope. However, those two aircraft have been assigned to the 79th Rescue Squadron at Davis-Monthan. bobdaley
Close the Rescue Group at DM is part of the 23 RQW at Moody. The 23rd has the lineage of 'The Flying Tigers" Hence FT and the aircraft at moody and DM wear FT Bob

Pigasus Crew Chief
Quite correct on the "Flying Tigers", how so ever when they first started painting teeth on our hercs at Pope we referred to F T as "False Teeth"
