C-130 Database: Aircraft Addition Requests

I am currently adding aircraft to the C-130 Database as time permits. I'm working my way through them by production number, adding the original and current data first and will fill in the rest of the data down the road. With 2400 aircraft, this is going to take some time. If there is an aircraft you would like me to add (ahead of schedule if you will), reply this thread and I will add it .

Looking for info on C-130E, 64-0560 (C/N 4063). I have pictures and info related tom this A/C at El Centro NAF (1967). This C-130E was record holder for weight carried. Will post when I have time.

RomeoDelta

LPN 4063 has been added.

Do you have specifics regarding the record?

Thanks Casey, Looks complete too me.

I crewed her at Evreux and at Lockbourne.

Say one small thing you show: wfu as waiting future use, the more common use is withdrawn from use.

No biggie.

Thanks so much for all of the great job you are doing on this great web site.

Makes sense, I'll change it.

You are very welcome. I'm glad so many people seem to enjoy it, I know I do.

oh sorry the E model section these were 73 models...73-7779 and 73-7829. I think 7818 and 7829 was a 69 model, it has been since mid 80's since i seen the E's but worked on the H's from '87 til '92 in Alaska

From what I remember some of the E's at the Dorf were, 63-7779, 7804, 7818, 7829, 7831, 7832, 7857, 7872, but missing 2 more cause of CRS, plus 64-0500 when I first got there but was transferred out sometime in 82-83 time frame.

Any 73 models were Super-E's but were designated H's. They were at LRF when I first got there in 75. Tail numbers 74-1580 to 159x. If they were at the Dorf they came in after I left in Feb 86.

Casey, I was just wondering. I did a search in the database for 6594th birds but no results. Also tried to do a search for the crash at at LRAFB in '82. So I'm not sure how in depth the aircraft info is or how specific the searches can be.

I don't believe any of the 6594th 130s have been loaded. I will put them on the addition list. As for the Little Rock crash, i'm still working on integrating crash/incident data with the data base and the "Today in C-130 History" section.

I have an old list of 6594 TS Herks- Corrections welcome

JC-130B's 57-0526, 0527, 0528, 0529, 58-0713, 0714, 0716, 0717, 0750, 0756, 61-0962, 0963

JHC-130H 64-14854, 14857, 14858

HC-130P 65-0992, 66-0223, 0225

HC-130N 69-5832

There are pictures of all in the gallery as Falling Star aircraft except 58-0716, and 69-5832, 58-0756 has one poor pic.

There were at least 2 more snatch birds at Hill 57-0525 and 58-0715, I don't think they were in 6954 but may have been?

Bob, if I remember correctly, when I was there we only had 10 B models. Plus, 5832 was a loaner whenever we had a P model in PDM, etc. It never was painted as a Falling Star bird. I think we got it from McClellan. From what I was told when they got it back the first thing they checked was a FE seat to make sure it hadn't been swapped out.

On missions, 5 recovery bird were sent out for the recovery and 1 P for the helo refuels. Second P was sent out later, can't remember the exact time delay though. Third P was kept as a ready to go spare if needed.
