avio@superherc Posted August 18, 2012 Author Share Posted August 18, 2012 I'm referring to a J model and the channel has nothing to do with frequency, its a video channel. There are two video out puts one for the LH display bus and the other for the RH display bus. Either one of the channel can be selected as 'Partial' from the AMU. The manuals doesn't say anything about purpose of a 'Partial' selection. By default both channels are "Full'. I will appreciate it if you can help me out. I would contact the manufacturer of the LRU. You can try Lockheed, but I doubt they'll want to let you know. Have you switched it to partial to see if the display changes? I would have. Basically you can display map mode on one and weather mode on the other. It is used to really work the antenna between two different modes.
