Over the past few days, I have made several changes to the site with the hope of improving navigation and the user experience. The highlights are listed below:

  • 3 weeks later...

When using the Database search blocks (site home page and database home page), searches from the "Lockheed C/N" block will now link directly to the aircraft profile page for the matching aircraft. This change eliminates the stop at the search results page and the requirement to click on the "view aircraft profile" button. Simpler, smarter, faster.....

It’s interesting that Lockheed Martin web site states that Service News magazine was published by Lockheed Martin from 1974 to 2003.

http://www.lockheedmartin.com/us/aeronautics/eoc/service-news-magazine-archive.html

but the C-130Hercules.net main page link has Lockheed Martin Service News magazine copies from 1956 (with gaps 1965- 1973 and 2005 to present day).

Are the gaps for ‘at war’ years?

How does LMC update people who have a need-to-know during gap periods?
