HYD. Man and another man grabed a chain an was pulled back In.

Seen pictures of the J Model Yesterday.
The Biggest change for me is the Flight deck

in the A/R SHOP before going to the line.

I live on a ridge close to the airport. Sometimes
C-130 shoot touch an goes there and bank and
come right over the ridge REAL LOW.
Sure bring back memories. wish I was up there
with them but I am a little too old to cut the
mustard anymore.

That what I was thinking was tachikawa. I was there in 64-66
but those two tail# don`t match what I remember.
but it could have been there before I got there.
IT does look like that area by air america.
Dutch, been there an done that at athens.
this acft. was at naha when I was at tachi. 64-66.

Lajes had a good chow hall open 24/7 I beleave.
Had slots in the crew quarters.
well two out of three ain`t bad.

I have a list of thirty three C-130E at cck in 72-73 an 62-1855 is not on my list also have names of C/C an A/C/C in 72-73 for all 33 acft.
just where is this plane.

my last tdy. to moldy hole was 1974 to bad about the bird in the hand.
nice pub drank a many a pint there. hung out at mickeys tea bar a lot.
caught the shuttle bus at mickeys to get to the flt. line.
all ways had a good time in norwich also.

I remeber "bunch of sevens" in 72 an 73. I can remeber the c/c an a/c/c never had to work hard most of the time to maintain that acft. It was always i/c an ready to fly. {i guess the luck ran out} CHECK THE GALLEY 3843 SEVEN PICS davis!

Check out wikipedia i found the 314aw patch and about ever other air force patch ever made.

That the Areo repair shop Charlie, Boy I bet those guys loved you.
That an all day job. R&R the bushings and Shims rehang the door
then adjust the latches. I worked in the A/R Shop when I entered the
services. That why I say this door had worn an sloppy linkage.
