elhubrich
Does anybody remember the one of a kind, all in one meal called the Lumburger that was served at the Naha AB snack bar? It fueled many a hungry Herky maintainer, and the thought of it came to me a few days ago.

Droppedonmyhead
Are you talking about a white sauce with crumbled cornbread in it? My great-grandmother was a cook who used to make it and my Mom fondly recalls eating it.
Jcapsparkchaser
Yes, in fact I often ask a local eatery to prepare the concoction which turns out not as greasy!!! Now here is an add on question does anyone have a copy of the recording done by a Marine which was affectionately know as the "BALLAD OF NAMANUEY"? This should bring back some memories! jcapsparkchaser from the ole 374th FMS electric shop 68-70--

Widdy
I remember the "Lumburger" ate many a burger and washed it down with nickle beer. In fact I still have tokens from the airman's club. 51 AEMS also known as Com/Nav
