C130Hcc
Boeing received a $61 million U.S. Air Force contract for two more C-130 Avionics Modernization Program (AMP) kits and two Aircrew Training System devices as part of a low-rate initial production (LRIP) contract that was awarded in 2010. http://www.aviationtoday.com/av/categories/military/Boeing-Awarded-C-130-AMP-Training-Contract_73524.html
AMPTestFE
That's abit of a misleading title. Boeing will not be conducting any aircrew training. CAE is building the training devices, with technical support from Boeing.
Jansen
Enough of this LRIP crap, time for full production.
bischoffm
They'll be ready just before they go to the bone yard. This project was scheduled to initially be done with all aircraft including the E's by 2014. Gotta love it when a plan goes together! Railrunner130
They need to get moving. We don't want to end up in the C-141C debockle. That was a waste.
AMPTestFE
The AF is finally moving...slowly. 3 planes done, two in mod...
