  1. Earlier today a member made a comment in the forum that I believe was intended to be in "good fun." However, it was insulting to and upset several members of this site. To those members I apologize.

I do not intended to, nor do I feel that I should, closely regulate our forums. However, I must ensure that we maintain an environment that encourages others to join and contribute to the community. Members of this site must be respectful of others regardless. Insults, derogatory comments, etc will not be tolerated. Anyone who violates the policy is subject to immediate and permanent banning.

    Thanks!

  2. Casey can remember this. Slash Dermott on night shift signed off/took time in CAMS by going on a expletive filled rant in the corrective actions box over several writeups. Needless to say poor Slash had to toe the carpet the next day...

I was setting next to him when he made the entries. I thought it was a bad idea but wasn't going to argue since I was just an Airman. It was pretty funny when they were read at roll call.

  3. It just took awhile for his true colors to come out -- good job Casey. Did you get my check?

I agree Skip. I got the check. Thanks. Sorry I didn't let you know. I have been bust at work for the past 2 weeks and have fallen a little behind with web site stuff.

    Thanks Casey

Was easy, just a few clicks of the mouse.:) All joking aside, I hated to do it but we have had few problem for two plus years and I hope to keep it that way.

  4. Fortunately, it has only taken me 3.2 weeks to realize that lorencooper has nothing to contribute to this community. His comment about Airnav in the previous post was uncalled for and in the post titled "Dan Wilson," it seems evident that he is trying to stir the pot. Therfore, he has been banned.

  5. Don't everybody respond at once. :confused::confused:

I realize that you are desperate for help/advise but that is not a good way to encourage a response.

Contacting Generals, Base Commanders, HQ etc, is unlikely to yield results. In fact, it may be detrimental. I would suggest that you continue to pursue a waiver. Be polite and persistent but not so persistent that you become annoying. If that route fails, a career in maintenance is also an excellent choice. However, I would not suggest pursuing any career, unless your heart is in it.

  6. The message below was sent to several members of the forums via private message.

    Hey,

I'm new here, how's it going?

Try as I might, it is impossible to police every member, message, etc, all the time. Thank you to those who have reported the message and to those who were spammed, please accept my apologies. I checked the link and it appears to be an annoying, yet harmless advertising ploy.

Please remember: Never click on links in posts, private messages or e-mails unless you know and trust the sender.

The member has been permanently banned from the site!

  7. I was thinking at work today and wondering what kind of coffee they provide the crews on the herks.I manage a Starbucks and know a lot about coffee and was just wondering. Please tell me it is not that Hillsboro trash the government provides!I can provide sample roast packages for a limited number of crews.Let me know.I would provide some of the pastry goods but i have to count that stuff and put it on a list.Anyway what kind of coffee do you crews drink?By the way I can provide vacuum coffee jugs and mugs at my discount<30%off>.Let me know and i can send out gift voucher-dude coupon things.

I can also handle bulk orders but need at least 48 hours notice.I know herk people are very short on patience (especially the flight engineer guys) but i will try. Please let me know. (people can get a little wacko when it comes to coffee)

I assume that you are just trying to be nice with your offers above and therefore, I will let them slide. In the future. please do not advertise on this site without my permission. Unauthorized advertisements are considered spam and as a general rule, I ban spammers. Nothing personal, just the rules.

  8. Whats with the pole I voted not sure for what.

His conduct on the old Hercules Headquarters board was, shall we say, less than desirable. Therefore, I believe, he trying to say that he has changed his ways and is asking our "legacy" members for forgiveness.

My take...His future conduct will determine if he is accepted back into the community.

  9. All,

The following was submitted through the Contact Us link on the site. Can anyone help them out or point them in the direction of some help?
