I'll never sell out maintenance. I've been doing this for 35 years now, and I can say that I am proud of anyone who has anything to do with A/C maintenance or operations.

My daughter was promoted to Airman on 17 July. She's now at Sheppard for tech school, and no, it doesn't have anything to do with aircraft maintenance. I told her to do anything but, with the way they treat maintenance people these days, and it seems to keep going downhill.

If memory serves me correctly, it was happening during ILS approaches, and they changed the large filter caps that are mounted on the back of the NIRP. The caps smooth out the Loc and G/S signals.

They briefed at the PIWG that they are using a milling machine from the F15 depot floor to drill holes in the new longeron after the machine measures the hole pattern on the old one. It was supposed to cut quite a bit of time off the entire job.
