Morning, we have been able to figure out the information going back to the older manuals. Sorry if I made anyone "wander around".

    Happy Birthday Mt.crewchief

Thanks, Jeff & Sonny, I am always happy to hear from you old guys. So far it appears our memories are intact.  I think!   Sonny, I was really looking forward to one of your birthday cakes. Oh well, maybe next year!🙂 I do think we still need a " This day's/month's birthdays"  posting like in the old days-----remember them? Thanks again for remembering, Ken

    1009350-# Actuator Grease

Wow, haven't been here in a couple of years but need some help. I have ACTUATOR 1009350-# for overhaul process according to T.O.  8D1-61-2-3. NOTE: "Prior to further reassembly, add a generous amount of high temperature grease (Allube 720, Allube Corporation, Glendale, CA, no known Military Specification), to bearing bores, pinion teeth, Geneva mechanism, and all bearing surfaces of gear assembly (15, 18, 20), gaskets (21, 23), and shaft (22)." I've looked everywhere possib

2nd AC power supply CB / fuse

My gut feeling is the devices under load are considered more long lasting and stable and less likely to need a circuit breaker. Rare that a transformer fails, certainly at those loads. This is instrument power, 26 VAC single phase if I recall right. Never saw one fail in 26 years of fixing and flying.

Probably need to add a picture of the schematic you are looking at so we can determine what you are actually looking to understand.

    Herky Hill Question

Since I was assigned to the 374th FMS  "Sparkchaser" shop I got to work on All 21st, 40worst, "E" flt, 35th, 815th they just handed me the work orders! Throughout my career I started with "A"s, Then "B"s and "E"s in country, back to "E"s in the states to "WC"s converted for the Desert and then finished at Pope in 2009 with 87 and 88 model "H"s except for a year on F-4s and B57Gs at Ubon The Herc was and still is my favorite. Been in a couple flaming engine shutdowns but the Herc always got me on

    • Tee Shot
      By Sonny · Posted
A guy stood over his tee shot for what seemed an eternity, looking up, looking down, measuring the distance, figuring the wind direction and speed... driving his partner nuts. Finally his exasperated partner says, "What the heck is taking so long? Hit the ball!" The guy answers, "My wife is up there watching me from the clubhouse. I want to make this a perfect shot." "Give me a break! You don't stand a snowball's chance of hitting her from here."

England has no kidney bank, but it does have a Liverpool. Haunted French pancakes give me the crepes.   This girl today said she recognized me from the Vegetarians Club, but I'd swear I've never met herbivore. I know a guy who's addicted to drinking brake fluid, but he says he can stop any time.  A thief who stole a calendar got twelve months.  When the smog lifts in Los Angeles U.C.L.A.  I got some batteries that were given out free of charge.  A dentist and a manicurist married.

I’m not having much luck with jobs lately: I couldn’t concentrate in the orange juice factory. I wasn’t suited to be a tailor. The muffler factory was just exhausting. I couldn’t cut it as barber. I didn’t have the patience to be a doctor. I didn’t fit in the shoe factory even though I put my soul into it. The paper shop folded. Pool maintenance was too draining. I got fired from the cannon factory. And I just couldn’t see
