Janet Airlines
I've searched everywhere, but I can't find info on this bird: Anybody have any idea? Thanks!!!
Janet Airlines
Not impressed with the response.
DC10FE
What response? Well, ya know it's not a trash hauler. Still not impressed, eh? Don R.
loadsmith
Not impressed with the response. Not sure that was even something the USAF ever flew. It looks like a cross between a RC-135 + JSTARS + C-130 = that model Did the person who built the model say it was taken from an "actual" C-130? HeyChief
Never seen anything like that before. It looks like perhaps that's a companies model for some sort of RC-130 or EC-130 proposal that never got off the ground. Looks like some sort of J-Stars type modification with the side panels. None-the-less...90% sure it never got past the model that you see there.
Mt.crewchief
I know I have never seen a C-130 that looked like that but there are a lot of them I still haven't seen! I do know one thing, it looks like somebody's imagination went somewhat wild!!! Also, in my opinion, it's UGLY!! Just my $.02 worth, Ken
Jansen
Not impressed with the response. Brand-new member expecting a response within 16 hours on a weekend? That's okay budz, I'm not too impressed with you.
Janet Airlines
So, Jansen, are you the member here who takes care of all the personal attacks? That's OK, oh wise one, I'd be frustrated If I were from Canada, too.
loadsmith
So, Jansen, are you the member here who takes care of all the personal attacks? That's OK, oh wise one, I'd be frustrated If I were from Canada, too. You were the one who came on here asking for help. Your 2nd post was not exactly the way anyone seeking help would respond after getting no replies. So what is your background? Are you just an aviation enthusiast or do you actually have a Herk background? I would guess by your screen name you are quite interested in the goings on out at Groom Lake. Be prepared to get a lot of flak on here if your post continue down the same road as the 2nd post. Mostly every person on here is a Herk lover thru and thru and could care less about the BS some people bring to a forum like this.
Roy
I've searched everywhere, but I can't find info on this bird: Anybody have any idea? Thanks!!! I have an idea. It's some model makers idea of what he or she thought a C130 looked like. Having said that, I'm like the others here: 1. Never saw a real C130 that looked like that. 2. Not impressed with you. EClark
Never seen anything like that. Like Loadsmith said looks like it is some kind of Hybird. my O'
INS/Dopplertroop
Agree with Loadsmith. Looks like an RC-135 "Speckled Trout" C-130 version. Maybe it was a Lockheed model for a "future concept" C-130 version. They have a lot of really strange concept designs out there. "Open Flatbed" cargo aircraft? Weird stuff. Muff Millen
Hey guys, don't you remember that is a close rendering of the amphibus Herk that operates out of the big lakes in Alaska. Notice there are no para troop doors. All the loading un-loading is done thru the ramp and door. mostly oli rig pipe and stuff. Muff {:-))
Monty FE
Reminds me of the Nimrod AWACS proposal from several years ago. http://www.spyflight.co.uk/images/JPGS/BAE%20Nimrod%20AEW3/5-9-2002-16-54-nimrod_aew.jpg

That's OK, oh wise one, I'd be frustrated If I were from Canada, too. Actually, I am the "member who takes care of all the personal attacks." Fair warning, if you continue to "push buttons" around here, you will be banned. Otherwise, if you are patient, respectful, and appreciative, I am certain you will receive plenty of assistance.
