Clark AFB C130E's

Recommended Posts

help pls. Does anyone remember if the PACAF  Herc's on Clark AFB had any "to letter" large white base designators ? I'm having oe of those shiny prinys done by "Casey" and I'd like the markings to be like the 776 TAS flew in 1972- end of unit. I have my favorite tail number, but what Large Letter markings were there, if any ? Thnx

The tail code for the 776 TAS was DL. But they were at CCK then I believe.

776 moved to Clark later but don't know if tail code changed.

Not really up to date on Clarks 130's but in 68 they were flying B models got stuck at Clark for five beautiful days later summers 1968. Left CamRahn going back to Naha plane deverted due to typhoon missed the flight back to Okinawa had to catch a Clark B model going to corrosion treatment in Naha sweet ride compared to an old A model
