  1. 55-0027 3054 C-130A-LM 182-1A T0 SVAF, Returned,To Mexican AF as FAM 10608 them FAM 3608. Did you have 56-0523 there at any time?
  2. The change in names was prior to 1961 on the C-130A @ Evreux AB FR. The differance was the FM's had a tool box they took it away and called them FE's.

  5. From some time in late 1966 when they broke up OMS and assigned us to different squadrons. While at Lockbourne, I crew 56-0523 for a long time then was a Flight line controler, Assist Flight Chief and Flight Chief. I left there in Oct 1967. Went to the 79 ARRS @ Andersen AFB, Guam. What did you do while you were @ Lockbourne?
  6. While stationed @ Lockbourne AFB, OH with the 39th TAS, of the 317th TAW. I had one of these that had had the little sight get broken thay were a 780 item and when it was replaced I talked the 780 guy out of the old one. Took it home and put a 150' cord on it and installed a over the wing light bulb in it (same diamater). Boy was it great when doing any and every thing @ night.

  10. I found this picture in and old magizene, "Wing" Dec 1988 issue. I have kept because I was stationed there in 1970-1971 time frame. Hope it is of interest to some of you. Sorry to be so late with it have had scanner trouble.:(

  12. I was working for Lockheed at Fort Worth when that happened, We were told that some kind of FOD had blocked the Lead ships stick and the others followed him in just like they ere trained to. Right after that the T-birds went to F-16A's

    Casey, Where is the GTC doors? All A models had doors over the GTC that were closed by hand. Looks good other wise.

  16. Both of the aircaft in the picture were in the 317th TCW/TAW. I hazard to guess that it was taken at Athens, GR. The parking ramp and back ground look so. Great place to breakdown. "Dutch"
