These birds were at CCK Taiwan in 72-73 with the 374TAS, they flew all over SEA out of Tan Son Nhut SVN and Utapho Thailand.

63-7812 was at CCK in 72 an 73 while I was there, took it down to U-tapao once when the reg. Crew Chief was on leave and my Bird was in Phase Dock.
It made a couple of trips In-Country then broke at U-tapao and turned in to the Cann. Bird for a good while, so I got in a lot of party time on that trip.
(Working on the Railroad) You Old timers know what that Is.;)

I remember the counter sit-in protest at Woolworths here in Charleston, SC during the 60's. Those young men were really brave to stand up for there rights.
I also Remember the counter sit-in we had at Woolworths in Chattanooga, Tn.

MAJ. William T. Mcphail was from my home town, That was the frist C-130 lost over on in Laos Tail # 56-0477 flying with the 41th TAS Ubon, AB, Thailand.

Both "B" and "E" had upper and lower bunks.
Most all the 130`s I were on had the starter and Gen. Pads stowed under the
racks were the oil and Hyd. fluid was stored.
Anyone remember that?

Well Dan you were a Lucky man because it was a real Cluster F--K getting out of there.

Just got back home from FLA. airshow today, I went on saturday, Airshow was about average but I was real Impressed with the F-22. My frist time to see it fly, The crower was est. at 80,000 people so when the show was over it took me 2 1/2 hrs. to get back to the car it was one big mess.
I won`t be going back to the Eglin show for a while, they have a lot of work to do before they have another airshow There.:(
