I was a dock chief and instructor on F-4Es at Seymour Johnson in the late 70\'s. Left active and went to Herks in the guard. Miss the fast burners though.

I can\'t address your request for articles, but the Marines got us a couple of brakes in Pakistan back in \'02. We tore up two brakes flying bladders of fuel into Afganistan (ANG aircraft). We did some trading with the maintenance guys for the brakes and got us back in the air in a couple of hours. Semper Fi. - Larry
