bobdaley
Larry 74-1658 from Little Rock was recently reported on the restoration ramp at NMUSAF. Maybe the one you saw?Seems strange because NMUSAF was offered an MC-E,MC-H, MC-P and an AC-H and they turned them down because they already had too many herks (3). 74-1658 was declared surplus months ago and needs a new center wing. Why NMUSAF would want that H and turn down the others just seems strange.BobUPDATE! Question answered. 74-1658 is sitting on the restoration ramp at NMUSAF. It will have its wings removed and be towed up the hill to be used as Aeromed Evac Trainer.Bob Edited October 26, 2015 by bobdaley
