    Hey Jerry!.....don't worry about it I think you know about the C-5 much much more than I do. I haven't got a clue. But I think that a safety pin in the down lock brace will just prevent that brace from folding(unlock) And by the way, do you have screw jacks or hyd. actuators?     Hi! I am on the impression that the boogie can rotate but with a pin in, no way it's gonna go up. The pin do not interact with the hydraulic sequences. But if you tell me that you never install the pins, I can't say anything else except that there is something wrong with that gear system..............John Boy

    you know what!!!! I think that during the walk around, the FE forgot to remove the safety pin on this gear. Does it make sense to you guys!!...............................John Boy
  18. the problem is:....Tenten is saying:....."for I am having some engines(T56-A-15) during fast open power ..." Think about it!! How many Hercs engines are you gonna play around with. Maybe the problem is on the seat behind the control whell!!

  20. Hi!! Just for the heck of it!.....did you check the cables tension! I wonder if when you slam the throttles up, it could make enough difference to put you in trouble....Or else, a good Ground run and separate the mech control from the electronic control. Maybe the FCU doesn't like it! I suppose you don't have any throttle split.!.....Climb in the flight deck and get the feel of it!!Well!, there must be a few "hot" active guys on this forum. Keep us up to date on this one....................................John Boy P.S. I forgot!.you're talking about more than one aircraft with that problem. Is it the same pilot!!!!! LOL!!!
  21. Hello! Do you have the ATM "on". and when you say: #3 eng!! you mean to say the first engine to be started!!. If you start #2 first, you'd get the same problem.....would you!! So I think we pin point the problem to GTC efficiency... with high outside air temp and high altitude level. !!!! Do you exceed the Starter limitations!!.............when it's hot, even the aircraft takes longer to lift! Maybe it's the name of the game. What do you think guys!!..........................John Boy

  25. Well!!....we do not want to see any oil consumption, leakage, and we want to keep the oil level in the tank according to the book. It's got to suck it but!!!! ..I must admit!!....it's been so long!!!. What do you think guys!!! We need a "fresh advice" from a "fresh tech" in the field!!!........... You know, I threw my Hercks books away last year. Actually, I burried them in my back yard. I couldn't throw them in the garbage.........I'll have to think about it!!!!!!!........at least the sump pressure.....OK guys!!!!!.....do it!!!!
