I see that a guy by the name of Dave Glanville just joined! Could you possibly be the Dave Glanville from CCK that ran around with the elite group, the original base slobs? If so, welcome back, several of us have been talking about you. Mostly good things🙄 I will be watching to see if there are two Dave Glanville's. Ken --from Sheep Dip, MT

http://tinyurl.com/yjjuhhn DEADLY PARASITE FROM VIETNAM NOW WIDOW'S BATTLE Cholangiocarcinoma is a rare cancer of the bile ducts caused by parasites found in some drinking water Veteran's widow battles killer parasite from Vietnam Horseheads woman raises alert about cancer-causing disease by Roger Neumann In the cruel way that war sometimes works, Vietnam killed Pete Harrison nearly 36 years after he came home. Elusive as they were, Pete thought he knew his enemies over there. The Viet Cong. The North Vietnamese. Their sympathizers. Nobody ever warned him about parasites in the water he drank, but they were there. Nobody ever mentioned the parasite…

I enjoy watching Diners, Drive-ins and Dives on the food network. Well, I went on the web site and found a list of all the restaurants that were on the show. Attached is the list. I wish I could have done it by state, but it was already a pain just reformatting the copy and paste. Anyway, maybe it will come in handy in your future travels. Tiny P.S. Any weight gain on your part is not my problem. diners, drive-ins and dives.pdf

This fine young gentleman from Michigan recently called me from home and said he was going to Billings MT. to visit his mother and sister and other relatives. He had seen my name and posts/gallery on our forum. Well, we met this morning and had quite a visit ( non-stop into the afternoon). I even let him talk every now and then!! tinwhistle would know what I mean!! This guy was a crew chief on 63-7840 at CCK for two tours from 70 to 73. His name is Gary Radatz! He is also a member on this forum but I think he is kind of shy!!!! he goes by gary005 . First - I'm going to provide a link. I have intentionally broken it, so the seller won't see analytics coming from here and then maybe pull the listing. Etsy is like a fancy pants eBay. People mostly sell hand made items. But there are people who sell ephemera, so hipsters can decorate their home like an 80s era Chilis. I usually scour it for items that could be illegal. Today I found this https://www.etsy.com/listing/150522303/ vintage-ww2-document-ros-206th-us-army?ref=related-4 I broke the link after the final backslash Granted that this soldier may already be dead. But identity thieves look for SS numbers of deceased people. I also know that certain doc…

I feel every current and ex-military member's opinion concerning the current move to abolish Don't Ask, Don't Tell should be heard. From what I have seen in the MSM lately, ninety percent of the current military say its fine by them to revoke DADT. However, a retired Navy Chaplin took a closer look at the survey and came up with a different take on the survey. I have posted it on my blog, should you care to view. http://flyoverfeedback.blogspot.com By the way, jut to be clear, I believe DADT should remain in place. JP

Hi. I haven't been around in a while. My father passed away in the PI last Friday. Don't know how many people here knew him. We (myself, and another daughter) had spent the last few years of his life fighting with the VA to get him disability for Agent Orange. During this time, he had been diagnosed with prostrate cancer. The cancer had spread to his testicles and then earlier this year, his spine. He was proud and stubborn. Had he not been so stubborn, he probably would have had another year or two. When it spread to his testicles, he refused to have them removed, or any sort of treatments, because he felt that would make him less of a man. Please, if you are diagnosed…

First of all, welcome to the forum! As usual, I was lurking in the new members notice area and saw the name Rapelje and thought wow somebody from my area!!! Well, no such luck but wanted to ask you if you are a distant relative of the person that Rapelje Montana was named after. Rapelje is a small (very small) farming/ranching community 27 miles north of Columbus where I live. It is right in the middle of nowhere and is mostly a grain farming area. Nice country though!! You mentioned being a 1st Sgt of the 817th TAS in 68 and 69 so I would probably know you if I saw you. I was in the 35th and Msgt. Galloway was my 1st. Sgt. Gary Levesque and I took over his room in the…
