  2. How is this if it not in these pictures we need to know the model or year group C-130!
  3. The pressure reducer valve reduces the pressure from 3000 psi to 1275 +-75 with a cracking pressure of 1575. Where the pressure relief valve will not let the pressure exceed 2300 psi and reseats at 1440psi So when these two fail the pressure could possibly increase to max pump output pressure
  4. "You guys need to treat your women better. Then maybe you'll just hear more of my favorite woman's retort "Yes.....Oh My God YES" " enough said!!!!

  8. Is this what you are looking for? 51-140-00 page 16C
  9. YES, the urinal is still a big part of the problem in the ones without encapsulated latrines. They even put in one with a bigger opening in hopes they would not miss. I suggested the take the system out and make them sit down and pee. I guess it is not to MANLY. Also the jumpers may have issue, but the zipper suits are just to good to do it!!

  11. Compare these drawings you may find your answer! The AVR-869 undervolt relay (in TO) and the AVR-869C sequence relay are linked in FEDLOG because they are the same. AVR-869E sequence relay is different. Maybe thats the issue! Thst is of course I'm reading the pictures right!
  12. If you can find the part numbers ( instead of SN) on the wing these might help. I know we modified alot of aircraft with the 'E' model wings because they had external mounted fuel probe saving fuel cell work when changing them. All of the H1's at Elmendorf where changed to 'E' wings between 97-02, I think all the H1's at least had 'E' model wing put on them. Warner Robins themselves might have a SN list of the outer wings and where they are.
  13. 1968 is when aircraft were new center wing. TCTO 1039 RETROFIT INSTALLATION OF REDESIGNED OUTER WING, C-130 AIRCRAFT, dated, 1 OCTOBER 1983, was done to the outer wings. 72-01299 was the last aircraft to have that done to it. So any of the book weights should be good.
  14. That's it Tiny! The drawing requirement was removed for the -3 a little bit ago I cannot tell you why they did not update the drawing. Maybe they are just seeing if it will work preventing cracks. Because we all know that phenolic scrappers are all that have been used on the truss mounts. The C-130 have always made sense and there has never been questions left up to interpretation!!! :)
  15. TO 1C-130A-3 54-30-00 Page 4: Says, (26) Reinstall sway brace using AMS-G-6032 grease or equivalent. Coat bore of hole and bolt, and torque to 150-200 inch-pounds leaving squeezed out grease in place. If you seal the bolts in yes it may help prevent them from spinning; however, scrapping the sealant off for the NDI inspection for cracks make cause more damage.

  17. You guys have called the brake control valves good, right!!
  18. Those ice chocks worked very well in Alaska!
  19. They where sitting on ice (probably) and you've seen the rest of the story. Inexperience was probably the biggest factor, because jumping chocks will never happen to me!!
  20. Don't hold you breath getting money out of AMC's hands especilly if it another MAJCOM idea.
  21. AFSOC said it WAS a reaction until the SIB is complete. We want to keep the aircrew out of maintenance runs thats for sure (no offense!)!! Also here is a picture of the ice chocks we used at Elmendorf!!
  22. Knowing AFSOC they probably where using a tin cans then with cotton string, thats why they were WIRELESS!!!
  23. Make sure the detector brackets are not loose and wire is not chaffing anywhere in the nacelle
