I only worked on the B-52H for about 7 months at KI Sawyer AFB, MI -- a very impressive airplane! Here's a clip of 120 TF-33P-3 engines rolling down the runway @ Minot. Don R. http://www.fark.com/cgi/vidplayer.pl?IDLink=4632948

Before you do be sure to check out what this guy has to say. Holy cow. I already knew they were anti gun and anti religion. http://www.veteranstoday.com/2013/12/08/wounded-warriors-project-a-legal-scam/ If what is reported here is true these guys really need to be publicly flogged.

You get what you vote for!!! The military's managed-care option -- TRICARE Prime -- will be ended Oct. 1 for retirees, their family members and for military survivors who reside more than 40 miles from a military treatment facility or from a base closure site, TRICARE Management Activity announced Wednesday. Most of these 171,400 beneficiaries will need to shift health coverage from Prime to TRICARE Standard, the military's fee-for-service health insurance option. For beneficiaries who use more than preventive health care during the year, the shift will mean higher out-of-pocket costs. Okay guys, what are the most spectacular bad bombs (airdrops from hell) you have either had a hand in or personally know of. I put it in OT because there are folks here that have dropped stuff in planes other than the Herk. I think the most spectacular one I personally know of was at Rhine Main in 1989. I think (ugh) Duke Bender was the AC, it was a triple heavy LAPES at Giebelstadt. For those not conversant with LAPES, a triple heavy is three pallets tied together and the Herk poops them out all at the same time, all the while the pilot is trying to maintain aircraft control with the wheels three or four feet off the ground. Weights of the triple heavy (training lo…

I'm gonna be in Marietta here in a couple weeks and was wondering how you go about getting a tour of the Lockheed plant? I thought of just showing up at the door, but assumed they may not find it very funny.

This doesn't have anything to do with C130's, but it's unique. Hope it comes through . Glenn FARK.com: Fark Video Player (4464984) Remote controlled SR-71 Blackbird http://www.fark.com/cgi/vidplayer.pl?IDLink=4464984

Hey guys, Engineers going off headset for awhile. Will be off the net for a month or so while I move to the new house and set up electrical and get the power company to hook me up. Then I will have to wait for the cable guys to hook me back up on the net, so it may take awhile for all this to happen. Computer is getting pulled down later today so I'll say "see ya" for the next month or so. Dan

YES!! ANOTHER PHONY EXPOSED!! This guy is the current owner of a small coffee shop. I used to visit this shop after my morning runs, when it was the previous owner. I gave the shop a try after ownership changed hands and eventually I stopped going because it seemed as if every time I went when it was this guy, he would try to talk about his service days and Navy SEAL blah blah blah... Growing up in the PI, and those of you who were in the PI, we all knew people who would "slip into the jungle". You just knew them, and what they did. They rarely if ever talked about what they did, when they did, they talked about it as if it was just any other ordinary job. The only …

I enjoy watching Diners, Drive-ins and Dives on the food network. Well, I went on the web site and found a list of all the restaurants that were on the show. Attached is the list. I wish I could have done it by state, but it was already a pain just reformatting the copy and paste. Anyway, maybe it will come in handy in your future travels. Tiny P.S. Any weight gain on your part is not my problem. diners, drive-ins and dives.pdf
