Anyone have CD's or PowerPoint from Little Rock for the Legacy aircraft? I would guess all the schools there are J by now so wondering if the old training materials are stashed in a drawer somewhere... I'm trying to put a fresh spin (new material) on our refresher training here at the NAS JRB Fort Worth C/KC-130 Simulator.

Question for you guys. I have a c130h transferring fluid from the aux system to the utility system. Ive replaced the Ground test valve and the utility system accumulator (which had a leak internally). Neither of those parts solved it and it is still happening. Thoughts on where to go from here?

Hello guy, I have some problem about TRU. No 1 TRU burn during start. After investigation, I found sign of burn at terminal plug output 28 VDC. We do the wiring check and found all the input and output voltage according the limitation. I study all the defect before this and found that the burn happen while transition from engine generator to TRU. Did you have any idea of this matter?

Hey Herk friend. One of my Eng/ prop rpm increases upto 105% during opening pwr with freq and then comes to 100% after 6-7 sec with freq 400 Hz. When rpm increases to 105%, then TIT remain 750-800(-7B). After reaching 100% rpm, TIT starts rising. Again while retarding throotles back to Flt Idle, rpm comes to 95-94%( on grd) and 96-97% in flt, then increases slowly with freq. That is in Normal, mechgov and synchro mode. We have replaced VH, FCU, TD Valve,TD amp but no joy. Any suggestions pl.

OK, Loadmasters, stupid pilot question about the treadways. Keep in mind memory has served too many times as a beer filter, reducing capacity, but don't remember treadways being marked on floor. If load looked like it wouldn't fall on treadways, did you measure them (If so, from where) or just throw shoring down? Dave

Is there any tech data regarding the servicability of the troop seats? Have a few that have a couple of snaps missing and the odd strap or two that isn't sewn in. And a crazy Chief who feels the need to replace everything in the AOR that isnt perfect. Just looking for guidance other than 1-1A-More-Stripes-Than-You.

Can anyone pls help with the part numbers, qty required and installation guide for a full T80 fit of troop seating. At my current location there is no seating available and the families of military personnel have to fly sitting on the floor. It would be most appreciated for any help in making their Herk experience (especially the kids) more comfortable and a little bit more safer.

Hello, greetings from Portugal. Currently i have one problem that is turning my head apart. In "my c-130" i have a erroneus indicating of TAS. With the pitot and static connect to the aircraft, on the ground and with 200 Knots in the IAS of #1 and #2, +/- 200 Knots in the Navigator TAS. In the INS i have the same reading. Whem i put so static pressures, about 5000 feet, my speed stars to go up in the Navigatos TAS and in my INS. Whem i get to 25000 feet i get 360Knots in the Nav TAS and the INS. The IAS on #1 and #2 remain at 200 Knots and my reading in the pitot static test is 200. I already change de TAS Computer and the Air speed sensor on the Nav position. …

A question has come up about resealing at the firewall (to do with turbine overheat system) with a sealant I connot find the spec on and a reference to a Lockheed process bulletin G-550 I am not able to find. Is there some one out there that know where to find out about this process? Cheers,

hi to all. in turbine overheat detection system its written that keyers duty cycle 30 seconds on and 60 sec off if keyer or flasher is limited to 30 sec on then in flight this limit can exceed because of taking emergency actions for this .plz any one tell me about this why there ops is limited during its test .and why not limited during actual condition when overheat condition causes the lights to flash. will be thankfull.

Got a turbine overheat indication on the T-handle and on the instrument panel and I can't figure out where my problem is. I've checked all four of the detectors in the clam shell (checked good) and installed a new keyer but those dang lights in the T-handle keep blinking. Any help ya'll can provide would be great.
