Does anyone know of a service bulletin that calls out measuring the skin thickness of the one-piece external tanks? P/N 388236-1. I have three SFAR 88 SBs, not one of them specifies minimum thickness.

Hello everyone, I need help with these two American airplane portholes. They come from the former NATO Evreux air base. As you know, at that time, on this air base, there were Fairchild C119 then Lockheed C130. These two portholes are 34cm wide. The markings found are: 59 R 12 337501 337592 Hoping you could help me? Hello- one of our aircraft, at #2 prop, I always find atmospheric sump empty that means I don't find any touch of Hyd with Dipstick when SVC propeller. On the other hand pressurized sump remain full. It is very confusing for me. Any one can tell me why this happen? What is other best and easy way to check Hyd level except atmospheric sump? Thanks

Hello expertise T56-a-15 engine at abt 900 TIT when we open wing & empen anti icing TIT remains same but torque of respective engine increase, when close the torque decreases. if any body having good information plz share with us. Regards

Our GTC85-180L APU starts and runs well. However, it doesn't supply bleed air. We have isolated the load control valve. We equally isolated the APU control switch as well as pressure regulator. We cleaned in-line filter. Despite these steps, APU still doesn't supply bleed air. It is strange to us and I am wandering if anyone has had this type of experience before and the possible solution. Thanks.

I have an old 501D13, (T56) built in 1954. We use it to pull air through a wind tunnel. I had to swap it out with an engine that was sitting in an engine can for 5 years. The new engine is giving me hot starts and high fuel flow at ground idle. I checked and rechecked the rigging. Swapped the TD valve and fuel control. This engine is unique, it does not have a TD amp, or TD control. Any ideas at what else I can look at or swap out to see if I can get this problem fixed? Its a difficult problem to diagnose because its run by a computer using a PLC.

GTCP85-180L starts and run well. However, no bleed air from the APU. Load control valve replaced with new one but no change. In addition, APU doesn't shut down normally unless by the pull of fire handle. Any help please?

hi. Recently, an oil filter defect occurred in one engine continuously. I checked the filter and checked it out and found that the filter and support were purple. All the filters in the whole line were purple. Have you ever experienced this?

Hey guys Here's a problem that has me stumped. Engine starts up to LSGI (auto & null TIT peaks about 810°C). When upshift to NGI engine rpm is 95% and generator will not come on line. You need to manually reset ON or move throttle to speed up the engine. All engine parameters are good at all throttle settings, IBIT check good. Only GI/FL rpm is lower than usual, but not out of limit. Generator circuits check good, with all relays, control panel etc having been replaced, and even generator replaced. Any thoughts on this issue would be appreciated PJ

C130 experts,..i have a problem on C130H...my aircraft got visible fuel leak on port aft wing...which is visible in flight above 6000 ft in flight....we have rectified plumbings in dry bay, flap area, drain system, yet fuel leak still persists in flight. The leak happens only in flight...we have replaced o rings at fuel pipeline at flap area..fuel leak still persist...any suggestion guys.. I have attached a video of the latest leak. Rigging NLG door, all of the steps and gaps are within limits but the aft door bumper stops wont touch the fuselage. If the aft door is rigged to get the bumpers within limits it throws off the step of the aft door leading edge.... any ideas?

We have a 74 model H1 with AN/AWY-1 single system autopilot, (Air Force Standard Flight Director, C12 Compass, single INU) that has had a perplexing discrepancy for a few years. With the FDMS switches in SCNS, AP2 selected on the FCP and LNAV/NLOC selected on the mode select panel the write up reads as follows "AP2 will not capture beam with SCNS selected". During the ops check with switches in the aforementioned positions the "N/L ARM" display on both pilot and copilot FPWU annunciators remain on and they never go to "N/L CAP". When AP1 is selected and all switches as listed, they system works as advertised and immediately the N/L CAP annunciator comes on. With that …

Fuel control roughly 60 rich. Push throttle above crossover tit corrects roughly 820. Pull throttles just below crossover tit stays at 820. Below crossover tit will only correct back when switch is placed to NULL. All TD ops checks work as advertised. Valve is going to a locked position below crossover with the switch in AUTO. Considering the valve works like a champ in AUTO and also in locked not suspecting the valve to be the culprit. Changed AMP, coordinator, & relay box. Have never come across this issue before any ideas?

TIT flukes 10-20 degrees , torque and fuel flow doesn't follow. Thermocouples and Tblock check good?

HELLO!! I'm having a problem with this type of weather radar! R/T (Receiver / Transmitter) P/N-2070401-0101 are burning all the time when the plane goes in flight. Displays (Pilot and Navigator) in Test Mode and Mapping only shows the three colors on the bottm of the displays, even if we change the Range! Thanks in advance for your help! Best Regards!!!

Hello guys. GTCP85-180L does not fire. It does not go beyond 20% rpm and there is no combustion. We have replaced FCU, oil pressure switch, oil sequencing switch, centrifugal switch, igniter plug, exciter yet no combustion. It just rolls but never achieves combustion. Any help please.
