Well the law of primacy is really biting my butt. The first thing I had ever towed were your basic 707-300 awacs type airplane. Waaaal now mamma done and made me buy her a big trailer last year and its killing me to back the thing, I keep turning the wrong way - one too few pivot points keeps screwing me up!!! Some day maybe I will get it figured out - but probably not:mad: (just thought I would throw that out on a boring night) But at least I got to buy a truck to pull it with:D Dan

Found a great website that also happens to supply a much needed reminder that we still have a traitor (or a several thousand for that matter) in our midst. Never forget:mad: http://www.pownetwork.org./2007px/Decals_and_Bumper_Stickers.html They also track down posers too - sweet! Dan

Good evening, IOt is with heavy heart that I have to say one of my uncles has been found in North Vietnam. He's coming home......at last. Excuse me if I sound upset, but.... The POW/MIA now means a helluva lot more. God bless every other family waiting for the return of a loved one. Sam

I know there are people here on this board with experience on varied types of airplanes. Here's my question -- were the SAC KC-135's the only ones with no FE? I know the Andrews 135's had an FE, but what about AWACS, etc? Thanks in advance, Don R.

A Soldier Comes Home On July 5, The Post published a letter from Martha Gillis of Springfield, whose nephew, Lt. Brian Bradshaw, was killed in Afghanistan on June 25, the day that Michael Jackson died. The letter criticized the extensive media coverage of Jackson's death compared with the brief coverage of Lt. Bradshaw's death. Among the responses was the following letter, written July 9 by an Air National Guard pilot and a fellow member of the crew that flew Lt. Bradshaw's body from a forward base in Afghanistan to Bagram Air Base. Capt. James Adair, one of the plane's pilots, asked the editorial page staff to forward the letter to the Bradshaw family. He and Brian Br…

There once was a senator from Mass, Who went out in search of some a$$; He lucked up and found it, F****d up and drowned it, And that was the end of his a$$. Man, was that limerick writer very wrong. Of course, he didn't know anything about the people of Taxachussetts.

I found this while surfing the web. Mike Flight Safety The Provisional Regulations (Foulois, 1911) only devote two pages to Flying Rules. However, they are extremely safety-oriented, as these samples show: "FLYING RULES. Never land with the wind blowing from behind the machine, as one is liable to underestimate the additional speed, and be carried into obstructions on the ground, which generally results in a wreck. Learn to know when the engine sounds right. Never attempt sensational or dangerous evolutions with the machine while in flight. Never fly in column with other machines at distances less than 400 yards between machines. Never fly …

Reading things on here has prompted a memory or 3. Just before I retired in 92 I was told I was going to get a briefing, it was outlined like this: You will go to the base commanders office, upon arrival you will be greeted by an E8 admin type, his/her name tag reads "T H E Y" at this point you find out who was giving out all that misinformation over the years (They said this...). Next you will greeted by a SSgt in an OMS/AGS hat.....yes you finally met "the regular crew chief". Finally you are taken in to the base commanders office, whereupon he draws back a large curtain revealing a wall sized mural.....he turns to you and says:"This is the BIG PICTURE!" At th…

This came around several years ago, but it's still good for a chuckle. Glenn Subject: FW: Balance in all things >Once upon a time, God was missing for six days. Eventually Michael the >archangel found him, resting on the seventh day. He inquired of God. "Where >have you been?" > >God sighed a deep sigh of satisfaction, and proudly pointed downwards >through the clouds, "Look Michael, Look what I've made." > >Archangel Michael looked puzzled, and said, "What is it?" > >"It's a planet," replied God and I've put life on it. "I'm going to call it >earth and it's going to be a great place of balance" > &g…

Sorry if this offends. Some times I just cant help myself! . ................................................................................ The Pope and Nancy Pelosi are on the same stage in front of a huge crowd. The Pope leans towards Mrs. Pelosi and said, "Do you know that with one little wave of my hand I can make every person in this crowd go wild with joy? This joy will not be a momentary display, like that of your followers, but go deep into their hearts and they'll forever speak of this day and rejoice!" Pelosi replied, "I seriously doubt that. With one little wave of your hand? Show me" So the Pope slapped her.

www.afblues.com This is a web comic from an Air Force stand point. I've been following for a long time, and it's pretty funny stuff. The main character is an F-15 pilot, but some stuff translates to all planes, and all services. P. S. I hope it's okay to post this. If not, I won't be offended it disappears!
