Hey guys Wondering if anyone can help me with info on the N prefix on the blade serial numbers. We have just gotten a TCTO covering a number of blades. Some of the serials are N8xxxxx others are just 8xxxxx. What does the N refer to ..... Tnx in advance PJ

Hello, my name is Austin Hancock, and I am a volunteer with the National Warplane Museum (Geneseo, NY.)Our museum has the opportunity to acquire a Lockheed C-130A, serial number 57-0460, from the Smithsonian. We are searching for the engine logs for the Allison T56-A-1A turboprop powerplants. We are hoping that someone may be able to help us, or at least point us in the right direction(s.) So far, I've written to Maxwell AFB, who had no info for us. Also, I have written to Rolls-Royce (Allison engine) and Lockheed-Martin (plane manuf), and had no response yet.Any help you could give us would be of most assistance. Hello Hydraulic Expertise In normal brake Pressure line near to Normal brake selector valve (100CU IN Accumulator),one way restrictor is installed but in Emergency brake pressure line the restrictor is not installed (50 CU IN Accumulator) both hydraulic lines pressure are same (3000 PSI) what is the reason behind it? C-130 world, we are experiencing a lot of problems with the Turbine rear bearing support casing cracks. on several occasions (6) the casing is cracked near the mount clamp of the tail pipe, at the had band or between the had band and mount clamp Does any of you guy's experiencing the same issue. Does anyone have any suggestions why? AD info: turbine boroscope done no cracks on 1st stator prop is dynamically balanced no discrepancies of pilots/FE concerning special issues on the defective engine any help is welcome, meanwhile we will look into the this problem aswel. best regards Herky400M

In C-130B aircraft tail no 58-0754 Lockheed no 3553 right rear mlg vertical beam got cracked. According to ipc 130B-4 the part no is 373014-1 L/R we tried to replace it by 373014-3 L/R as previous part no not available.but it is found not matched with the existing one.Now can we replace it with 388482-32?

Hello guys, we’ve been having the NAV flag on the #1 HSI in view. Both receivers were changed as well as the switching relays. the antenna was removed, cleaned and reinstalled, yet there wasnt any improvement.however, after the removal and reinstallation of some of the switching relays, both #1&2 NAV flags remain in view. . Kindly help suggest a solution.

Good evening house. Our C130H aircraft returned back today from an FCF after an unsuccessful air start. NTS check was successful and the engine feathered with a cruise engine shutdown procedure. However, when on airstart following the stated procedures, the airstart went well until 60% RPM when all engine parameters wound down to zero and consequently prompted an immediate feather. A restart was attempted on the ground and was successful. We have consulted our troubleshooting manuals but found nothing so if anyone has a suggestion to correct this problem would be appreciated. VMT

During the generator ops check, the book tells you to sequentially turn on/off the generators to tell you if the generator can handle the load of the aircraft. When generator 2,3,4 are off generator #1 shows high voltage on phase B only (121 volts). Along with that, we are getting ECBU's 6,7,8 input failures. We have changed GCU, engine generator and swapped BIU's. We still are getting the same problem. Any input will help. Thanks in advance
