In C-130B aircraft tail no 58-0754 Lockheed no 3553 right rear mlg vertical beam got cracked. According to ipc 130B-4 the part no is 373014-1 L/R we tried to replace it by 373014-3 L/R as previous part no not available.but it is found not matched with the existing one.Now can we replace it with 388482-32?

Hello guys, we’ve been having the NAV flag on the #1 HSI in view. Both receivers were changed as well as the switching relays. the antenna was removed, cleaned and reinstalled, yet there wasnt any improvement.however, after the removal and reinstallation of some of the switching relays, both #1&2 NAV flags remain in view. . Kindly help suggest a solution.

Good evening house. Our C130H aircraft returned back today from an FCF after an unsuccessful air start. NTS check was successful and the engine feathered with a cruise engine shutdown procedure. However, when on airstart following the stated procedures, the airstart went well until 60% RPM when all engine parameters wound down to zero and consequently prompted an immediate feather. A restart was attempted on the ground and was successful. We have consulted our troubleshooting manuals but found nothing so if anyone has a suggestion to correct this problem would be appreciated. VMT

During the generator ops check, the book tells you to sequentially turn on/off the generators to tell you if the generator can handle the load of the aircraft. When generator 2,3,4 are off generator #1 shows high voltage on phase B only (121 volts). Along with that, we are getting ECBU's 6,7,8 input failures. We have changed GCU, engine generator and swapped BIU's. We still are getting the same problem. Any input will help. Thanks in advance

Hey guys My topic is a follow on of this discussion. Over the last several months we have had a large number of TD related problems. Some have been fixed by the usual TD am or valve change, or just a careful yellow box. Many have either been sent to me in the test cell, or I have spotted enough of a disparity to warrent further investigation. The most common failing is a high take off TIT in AUTO, with a lean fuel control. I like to set SLOPE and NORMAL at 1075°C and take things from there. What airplane configuration is correct for removal/installation all 4 engines from aircraft without add gross weight for airplane balance? What is better structure load configuration for airplane: 1. if airplane weight is on full belly shoring and supported by jacks (Nose jacks on FS 165 , main jacks WS 220 and stabilizer cradle jacks) -no-load condition 2. if airplane weight is on jacks (NLG on FS165, main jacks on WS 220, horizontal stabilizer) and supported by belly shoring (airplane weight isn’t on shoring but only for balance)?

Hi guys, pls what could be the possible cause of an engine failing to air start. we followed all the procedures ranging from cruise engine shutdown, NTS check, and getting to air start the engine refused to start. Actually what happens is that during air start, the engine rotates to about 7% RPM and starts winding back Down. I need some helpful info pls.

Struggling with an ongoing ATM gen problem. Getting good freqs good volts. Turn ATM gen to on gen out light does not come on but the ESS bus off lite stays on and all systems requiring 3 phase power do not work. The single phase AC items on bus do work. AC instrument fuel control bus works and Elevator trim works. We have changed contactor, generator, GCP, and voltage regulator multiple times with no luck. Anyone seen this?? Thanks

we have a problem at nose landing gear, during take off shimmy starts until 70 knot after that there is nothing shimmy after 70 knot. we have seen shimmy at the same time on steering control wheel. we have changed nlg wheel tires and we have checked steerıng control valf, and we wehave done nlg door rigging. we suspect steering control valf.

Aircraft returned from a LAIRCM mod again... The MFCD will not indicate the ramp/door being in ADS position. We've swapped MFCDs, so MFCD is not the problem. All other ramp/door in ADS position indications are working properly. Literally the ONLY thing that is not happening is ramp/door indication on MFCD. We've checked all plugs/jacks/terminal boards/ diodes etc. and haven't found anything wrong. It's still allowing aircraft to jettison cargo even though it shouldn't without the MFCD indicating that the ramp/door are in the proper position. Any help or ideas would be much appreciated.
