Had a AC phase distribution diagram where each and every switch, light, valve, pump, instrument, etc. power source was shown, whether it was 3 phase or single phase, from what phase on a specific Bus. Can anybody help, please? Only the fairies will know what happened to my copy.

Last night prior to starting, my FE noticed that the #3 LSGI buttom had a light bulb in it and when jiggled, the button would light up. Anyone know why the LSGI buttons were lit? Nothing in the Dash 1 explains this.

Hello C-130 world, I need your help:confused:!!(T56-A-15) I have a task looking into a problem: we are struggeling during a few months with: 1) during the latest times we have a lot of cold starts (more than 50% of the fleet) which are starting lower than 750°C TIT or around it (<780°C in several OAT's and hight Levels), but normal start time(<60''). 2) Equal to another problem high FF consumption @ LSGI, HSGI, FI and MAX REV => if I have to plot this, it's out of the charts or in the upper limit.(try this, it's FF VS TorqueVS TIT) So what I'm sure of is that the TD-system functions correcttly, thermocouples=>ok, Thermal block => ok, Y cab…

Anybody out there no where to get a breakdown of what each card does in the RTP? I have tried, to no avail, to find a back shop to in the eq/to xref using ETIMS but had no luck. We are just now getting some tails with this system and the 206a and standing up an ECM shop for the first time. Any advice or tips with these new systems sure would hook us up!

Well guys I am new to this website, but i have been a comm nave troop for 8 years and have worked Es and now Js and want to give you a heads up on a problem we have recently (yesterday) discovered. The J model PMA can give false bit test results. It seems possible to show a failure when the LRU/System is completely fine. We chased our tails for a week until we accidently got another PMA and it worked. With APN-241 RTPs being as rare as they are this is one of those things I thought would be helpful to all.

I was reading through the External Tank overhaul book last night and it had a note that external tanks from UARRSI and non-UARRSI aircraft are not interchangeable. I didn't see a reason stated (I was however skimming) and I can't think of anything that would prevent them from working. Does anyone have any idea why you can't swap them around? I've asked around work, but no one even knew that was in the book.

Do any of you have any tips or tricks for removing a stuck MLG tire? It happens to us a few times a year. This is happening on multiple disc brakes systems.

Hi guys, I'm currently trying to model an accurate C-130J for a flightsimulator (FlightGear) but I'm a bit stuck with the UARRSI. It is almost impossible to find any detailed information about it. I have found some pictures showing it from the outside but with the estimated dimensions of the whole pressure box of the receptacle it always penetrates through the cockpit ceiling. Is it possible that there is some modification needed on the inside? If so, maybe one of you could give me a picture for it, and maybe also some drawings or the dimensions of the UARRSI itself. Also does anyone know where the UARRSI door and controls are located? I've read somewhere about an aer…

Just read an announcement that the helicopter that crashed August, 08, in california, doing firefighting activities, was nearly 30% over gross allowable..........The crash killed a number of firefighters and the flight crew.. Seems as if the operator had intentionally, apparently, gave false information about the weight and other performance data of the S-61, which is, i think, a civilian version of the H-3? I reckon that just shows to go ya how important that weight and balance stuff really is, especially when you are operating near the aircraft limits. Maybe that's why us loadies flew with the plane, as a sort of guarantee. Are any of you aware of any similar, if …

We have an H1 74-1664 that came from Little Rock that has two 10 Amp DC circuit breakers labeled VHF FM. The wiring diagram 2RF4.00 only shows one. The second breaker was collared and we are trying to find out why so we can properly annotate our forms for an upcoming inspection. All other aircraft have only one CB. Does anyone know what the second one was for? Was there ever a third VHF, a TCTO, or perhaps a test installation that never came to fruition?

RNZAF C130H keeps shearing towbar pins. We found that the NWS steering indicator feed back drive chain in upper indicator dial had stiff links and stuck during travel and we thought that this was not allowing steering valve teeter totter arm to cycle whilst towing and causing a lock thus shearing towbar pins. We lubed chain and it appeared to fix problem but now the shearing has reoccured. Has anyone had this problem. We have not changed valve. It naturally does not do it with arm disconnected. NWS rigging i.e cable tension correct and even and teeter totter arm correct. The NWS operates as required when on skid plates. Cheers Kal

Can anyone confirm that all of the e-model stainless steel bleed air ducts have been replaced with Inconel ducts under TCTO 1397? I don\'t see the TCTO listed in the -1 anywhere so that tells me it\'s been completed on the fleet but I wanted to see what the masses had to say before I put it to rest in my mind.

A question came in about why we chain the gear. We know what it says in the Flight Manuals, we have all been taught why we do it but is there anything written down officially or in tech form that says why we chain (or use tie down fitting) for a main gear malfunction.
