APU GTCP85-180L run normally. Bleed air check > 35 psig For starting engine, pressure at pressure gage is superior to 30 psig. But with air conditionning cargo ans flight station comp on norm position, the pressure is under 22 psig. The EGT is adjust to 620°c RPM to 100%. Bleed air valve APU is checked. After that, the pressure is always under 22 psig. With only one air conditionning comp, how much is the pressure drop ? Thanks

Land adjust NTS bracket go back up same thing ,go to Airstart prop begins to come out of feather a tiny bit then goes back to feather. this time change Valve housing perform run all checks good! back to FCF shut #3 down feathers fine go to restart, same thing comes out of feather just a bit then back to feather still no rotation of propeller need help with this one I have a few theories one could be bad quad seals, not letting enough pressure to unfeather the prop with the extra force of 150 knots of wind another could be…

Ok, so I'm out at base X flying our 4 '74 models and notice a trend. After climbing up to our cruise ceiling, we can't true out until an hour or two later....so I started running some other charts. I first would watch our TAS until we just hit 300, then took a snapshot of average torque, gross weight, OAT, alt, etc. I would then run the IAS for 300TAS chart, which might have come out with something like 12,000 in lbs, before the drag correction. On page 2 (drag correction), I would correct for our advertised ~+20 index, and would come up with a value much less than what it just took us to creep up to 300 TAS. So then, I would come in backwards with my average actual …

Hi guys, I need some help about a broken upper vertical leg in (the oblique part) of Sloping Longeron Attach Flange at FS 858L. The oblique part is attached to the "Tee cap" by the doubler (see figure 2) We tried to make reinforcing doublers but after 12 landings the fitting PN 342593L was broken. We suggested to grind out the outside of the vertical leg and make doublers but need the limit removal of the Longeron, but we haven't in our structure repair manual SMP 583. So can any one of you expert sheet metal engineer suggest a solution for this huge problem, thanks.

I was a non-crew ground-pounder who only flew on C-130s a few times, but I always enjoyed listening to the engine start-up check list, and it was great fun standing at the paratroop doors and watching the "whoomph" from the tailpipe as the engine started. I've forgotten the order of the checklist. I remember "enrichment" and "ignition" and "generator on", but I've forgotten the exact sequence after the pilot (or engineer, or who?) says "Turning four". Can someone recite the engine start-up checklist once again, please? Thanks.

I have a plane that when doing engine runs 1 and 2 shut down normally and pressure bleeds down immediately. But booster side 3 and 4 i need to move flight controls in order to bleed it down. Any experiences with this for any of you? I thought maybe transmitter but pressure stays until flight controls depressurized it upon moving them. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

We have experience a few incident of LH Aux FQI went to off-scale LOW on two aircraft. When open tank and found the Fuel Qty Compensator cracked and dislodged. Subsequent check found the bladder cell actually collapse as the strings tie the cell to the structure have given way. Have anyone experience this. Can the Aux Tank pump pressure caused the problem when the tank is empty ie. the pump running.

Greetings, We’ve been having an ongoing RTRU issue that only occurs in flight, usually a couple of times during touch and gos/takeoff. TR3 load will drop below 5, kick out a fail for 2-3 seconds then recover and go back to functioning properly. A few things we’ve changed include the TR unit, BIU, as well as the associated diode. Was curious if anyone has seen a similar issue or has any input on potential culprits. All meter readings weve checked have been good, as it does not fail on ground.

What could be causing a slow moving utility gauge. Pressure reads fine on aux pump, normal and emergency gauge. Just utility gauge shows hesitation. Transmitter and gauge have been replaced. Could it be the util accumulator? Thanks for the help.
