I can not vouch for the accuracy of this , I received it as a email from a friend. If it is true, which I nope it is, this place deserves all the business it can get. LOVE This!!! Montana Restaurant The radio station “America FM†was doing one of its 'Is Anyone Listening?' bits this morning. The first question was; “Ever have a celebrity come up with the 'Do you know who I am? ‘routine.†A woman called in and said that a few years ago, while visiting her cattle rancher uncle in Billings, MT, she had occasion to go to dinner at a restaurant that does not take reservations. The wait was about 45 minutes. Many local ranchers and their wives …

A few updates 74-2072 is at Robins, supposed to be for the Afghans. CT now has at least 2 H's 74-1667 and 74-2134. MT has 1 H 74-1671 OH now has 4 H's; 2 from AK 82-0054 and 0056, one from NY 83-0488, and one from Dobbins 81-0629. Sheppard now has 4 H model trainers 74-1673, 1676, 1684, 2130. This is a strange one; Dobbins is giving up its 81 H models, well maintained with only about 11000 hours on them. So far 81-0628 is at LRF ANG, 81-0629 is at Mansfield, 81-0631 is at LRF ANG and they are getting 50th AS rejects, so far 92-0552 and 93-1039. The 50th H's have around 13000 hours on them and obviously not as well maintained as the older 81 models. The troops in Ma…

This is a rare photograph of a Marine KC-130A on its first test flight. The tail says "5046" and I'm trying to find out what Lockheed ship number this aircraft was. Photo was taken in August 1957 at Lockheed Georgia's facility in Marietta. Can anyone help me out with this?

© Tom Gibbons – Global Aviation Resource Having made their last operational flights on 25 October, the final two of 66 Hercules C-130K transport aircraft delivered to the RAF – Hercules C3As XV177, callsign “Reynard 1†and XV214 “Reynard 2†– touched down at MOD St Athan, Vale of Glamorgan, on Tuesday 29 October 2013 for storage and potential onward sale. The arrival of these aircraft brought to an end an exceptional 46 years of RAF C-130K service and the two aircraft joined a further six examples that had earlier entered storage. I was watching a video on the AC-130H and noticed that the flight crew was wearing camo. Are these new camo flight suits or the regular BDU's?

Does anyone know how many Broad Area Reviews were dedicated to the C-130? The only one I could find is the January 1998 C-130 Broad Area Review. The review does a good job of detailing probable causes of the King 56 Accident http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/a...130-bartoc.htm

Does anyone know of ANG's plans for repair of the T56 engines that are sent to Standard Aero. Their commitment to the contract will be expire in Feb 2014. Rumor is that they will be going back to JEIM level repair. Are they going to establish Engine Regional Repair Center (ERRC), Queen Bees, or JEIM back shops at each base?

I have 2 130 patches, but am looking for more . If anyone is willing to sell me some patches, I'd really appreciate that. Thank you . Sam:)
