Back in 1967, two HH3 helos (13280 & 13281) flew from the U.S. to the Paris airshow non-stop, with 9 refuels. I can\'t find any info on what aircraft refueled them. Anyone have any idea what tail numbers did the refueling?? http://www.aeroworldnet.com/his.htm Tiny

Any one outhere have the 516TCW year book that was published in 1963-1964? I have lost mine over the years and would like to borrow one or if some one could make copies of a few pages out of it. I would cover any expenses. I was at Dyess in 63 and went to Elmendorf when the D\'s xferred. I was a \"Bubble-Chaser\" at that time. :)

A drunken man walks into a biker bar, sits down at the bar and orders a drink. Looking around, he sees three men sitting at a corner table. He gets up, staggers to the table, leans over, looks the biggest, meanest, biker in the face and says: \"I went by your grandma\'s house today and I saw her in the hallway buck naked! Man, she is one fine looking woman!\" The biker looks at him and doesn\'t say a word. His buddies are confused, because he is one bad biker and would fight at the drop of a hat. The drunk leans on the table again and says: \"I got it on with your grandma and she is good, the best I ever had!\" The biker\'s buddies are starting to get really mad…

Hi Got a little BRAC info this AM. 328 AS Niagra Falls is going to 12 C130 H\'s. It will be an AFRC unit with an ANG Associate unit. (Boy is that pork politics!!) The H\'s will come from 105 AS TN ANG and from Minneapolis(my guess 96AS) The 8 H\'s 92 models are leaving. (To where?) FayetteNam Observer said this AM that half the E models at Pope are gone and the rest are to be gone by summer. There will be 16 H\'s at Pope owned by 95 AS AFRC flown by 95AS and an active duty associate unit 2 AS. The 16 herks are 8 from Milwaukee 95 AS birds nand 8 from Pittsburgh 758 AS. 758 has already received 8 older H\'s from 185 AS OK ANG. Three Questions? Since 53AS is no…

I heard that the second oldest, by Bureau number, aircraft in the USN/USMC inventory KC130F 147573 is heading from VMGR-152 to AMARC this weekend. It is the last operational KC130F. There are still 5 KC130F\'s involved in testing and 2 NC130F\'s in testing. THe NC\'s were KC\'s and I think they are drone launchers but I am not sure. The oldest aircraft in their inventory is 144670, an NU-1B Otter, at the Test Pilot School at Patuxet. Bob

Just thinking back to my first real experience with Herkys. I think it was in December of 1970. Some of us from the Aerial Delivery section at Travis went on a mobility to Ft. Greeley, AK. It was a joint operation between the Air Force, U.S. Army and the Canadian Forces. They moved the Army guys out of the huts and into tents to make room for us spoiled air force guys. At one point, the wind chill was 116F BELOW zero. Ft. Greeley\'s ramp could only hold about 2 large aircraft and we were trying to run an operation with Canadian 130\'s and our 141\'s. One time one of our 130 crews asked to have something unloaded from their a/c. I went out there with one of those large,…

When I was stationed at Sewart I remember a troop drop incident with our planes at Ft. Bragg that cost some troopers lives and injuries. I think it was about 1964 or 65. Does anyone have any details on this ? Thanks, Bill

I am over sixty and the Armed Forces think I\'m too old to track down terrorists. (You can\'t be older than 42 to join the military.) They\'ve got the whole thing backwards. Instead of sending 18-year-olds off to fight, they ought to take us old guys. You shouldn\'t be able to join a military unit until you\'re at least 35. For starters: Researchers say 18-year-olds think about sex every 10 seconds. Old guys only think about sex a couple of times a day, leaving us more than 28,000 additional seconds per day to concentrate on the enemy. Young guys haven\'t lived long enough to be cranky, and a cranky soldier is a dangerous soldier. \"My back hurts! I …

Too funny. The commanding officer of a regiment in the U.S. Marines Corps was about to start the morning briefing to his staff and company commanders. While waiting for the coffee machine to finish its brewing, he decided to pose a question to all assembled. He explained that his wife had been a bit frisky the night before and he failed to get his usual amount of sound sleep. He posed the question of just how much of sex was \'work\' and how much of it was \'pleasure\'? The XO chimed in with 75-25% in favor of work. A captain said it was 50-50%. The colonel\'s aide, a LT, responded with 25-75% in favor of pleasure, depending on his state in inebriation at the t…
